NIRAPAD has published “Bangladesh Disaster Logbook 2007-08”. Last two year, Bangladesh had experienced 12 different natural disasters like- Flood, River bank Erosion, Cyclone, water logging, Flash Flood, Earthquake, Land Slide, Cold Wave, Tornado/Nor’wester, Bird Flu and Monga. Disaster’s misery, impact, causal analysis and different initiatives, challenges, experiences of risk mitigation has elaborately described in this logbook. Four colored, 148 pages and bilingual "Bangladesh Disaster Logbook 2007-08” has illustrated quantitative and qualitative comparison of people’s sufferings and impact of disaster by different pictures, graphs and diagrams which easily draw a detail scenario of disaster.

NIRAPAD is expecting that this logbook will help the readers to understand the different natural disaster’s type, risk and impact as well as capacity, challenges and future activities. Beside these GOs, NGOs, Donors who are working in disaster management sector can use the information for their disaster related activities.
