Government has declared DRR Platform in Bangladesh according to the UNISDR mandate. We are delighted that Government considered NIRAPAD one of the prime NGOs representative among the others.

We are happy to inform you that government has declared DRR Platform in Bangladesh according to the UNISDR mandate. Total 39 representatives from Governments, NGOs, Scientific and Academic Inst., Private and Civil Society. Among the representatives total Government Representatives 23, NGO Representatives 5, Scientific and Academic Inst. Representatives 6 and Private & Civil Society Representatives 5.

We are delighted that Government considered NIRAPAD one of the prime NGOs representative among the others. It is our big successful for being all stakeholders in one platform. The challenges lies on activate of the DRR platform by all of your efforts. So, we need your support to strengthen DRR Platform by strengthening NIRAPAD.
